About The Local Exchange

Located at 130 S Park Square NE, Marietta, GA 30060, The Local Exchange operates as a specialty food store serving Marietta in Georgia. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Marietta with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in Georgia may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 10 am–6 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (770) 794-3136. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, thelocalexchangemarietta.com.

Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 47 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded specialty food stores in Marietta.

Marietta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Marietta is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Details on this page come from public sources and may change; confirm anything important by phone before relying on it. Business owners can claim the listing to keep it up to date.

Great selection of very high quality products from local producers. Honey, tea & coffee, pasta & sauce, chips, dog treats, pecans, drinks, and don't forget the chocolate! Just to mention a few of the items they carry. Support many local businesses with one shopping trip.

Cute boutique shop highlighting goods made or grown in Georgia. I was looking for a hostess gift for relatives in another state and wanted to get them something that they couldn't necessarily get where they live. I found exactly what I wanted - an assortment of BBQ sauces, jams, honeys, and salsas all made in Georgia using Georgia grown produce. Prices are more expensive than what you would pay for a generic, mass produced item, but are not cost prohibited. The sales clerk, Nikki, was very friendly and helpful and I enjoyed chatting with her at checkout. This is a great place to shop for unique and not mass produced gifts! I will be back!

Such a cute shop! I love the "keep it local" vibe here. The sticker selection is awesome 😎. I was very excited to pick up some Savannah Bee lip balm without driving all the way to Savannah. Picked up some local Peach pancake syrup and other locally made food items that I look forward to trying when I get home from this trip.

Adorable locally owned shop filled with unique gifts, all locally sourced! Clean and inviting atmosphere. We grabbed a few handmade items (scrunchies and face scrubbies) then headed next door for ice cream!

The Local Exchange is an amazing woman-owned boutique in the heart of Marietta Square, specializing in local and handmade goods. From pottery to coffee, self-care, and crochet, they have everything you are looking for in terms of unique gifts. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Ginger and had a friendly conversation with the owner. They carry a wide variety of items but it's not an overwhelming experience. The store is very clean and all workers were wearing masks, which I appreciated. We arrived close to opening and saw first-hand cleaning procedures in high traffic areas being enforced -- a lovely storefront! We are honored to be a new vendor and customer. (Go check out our sustainable items and velvet scrunchies handmade with love!) @The Local Exchange - thank you for having us and supporting the dreams of a local artist.
